SYF Blog Guidline

The SYF Blog is open for everyone who wants to express their own opinions and ideas in the field of nuclear disarmament and arms control.

A goal of this blog is to develop the understanding of our members in the field of nuclear disarmament and arms control through writing their own blog posts. In doing so, we set up the following categories:

  1. Blog Article: 2000-5000 words with footnotes from academic resources with sufficient level of academic quality. It will be examined by a single peer reviewer from the Advisory Committee (peer review process).
  2. Opinion Article: 1000-3000 words with authors’ ideas and opinions. However, authors must be held responsible for all contents of their article. A member of the Advisory Committee will read your idea and opinion and give a comment to improve your opinion article (feedback process).
  3. Press Release: an article which updates the SYF’s activity. It will not be examined by the Advisory Committee.
  4. News: a short article describing a current situation of nuclear disarmament and arms control, other NGOs activity and any other important information which should be shared with us. Authors cannot express their own opinion and idea in this category. It will not be examined by the Advisory Committee.

A single peer review process will take for one or two months to return your paper with his or her comments.

A feedback process will take for one or two weeks to return your paper with his or her comments.

When you finish preparing your submission, please send your paper (word file) to info.safnayouthforum@gmail.com. We will reply to you in due time.
